What is Patriot Walk Across America?

Mark Klodzinski completed his walk across America on Veteran's Day 2010 aboard the USS Midway. During his walk he raised awareness for our terminally ill veterans, as well as explored and discovered America, and the great people who make it what it is. Mark is currently residing in Houston, Texas, which is the hometown of his girlfriend in which he met on his trek across America. He is writing away about the experience and memories he has gained from his 8 month journey across America. Not only was he able to raise awareness for our veterans in need, but he was also able to meet many American's which have changed his life as well.

Mark walked out of Ellicottville, New York and was on his way down the east coast, down to Florida, across the Gulf Coast, up to Kansas, across the Colorado Rockies, through the deserts of Utah and Arizona and into California where he ended his walk aboard the USS Midway in San Diego. The Walk has triggered an overwhelming amount of support and Mark will continue his volunteer efforts by contributing his service to other organizations. Patriot Walk Across America is an ongoing effort of support for our troops overseas, and our veterans here in the states. While his walk is now over, he still looks back on it often and we look forward to continuing our support, and some more cool adventures in the future!
